How to Install dcbd software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

dcbd software package provides Intel Enhanced Ethernet for the Data Center., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dcbd

dcbd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dcbd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dcbd *

You will get with dcbd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
